How to increase the speed of insertion of data into table in SQLITE

Hi ,I am using QT4.4 and SQLITE for database.Here I need to insert a data of 44 items into 44 columns table for every 1millisec which I have read from RS232 port for every 1ms by using QTimer. Here I am executing the query for every 1ms to insert the data of 44 channels but this makes my program slow down .
So please suggest me to solve this problem.
Another thing is how to insert data which is in 2Dimensional Array(50*44) in one instance ie executing query once only.
So please help and suggest me to solve these problems.
