Can't run QtCreator, QTCreator won't run on Linux

Hi,
I'm trying to run QtCreator and I get the following message:

./qtcreator.bin: /lib/tls/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by /home/zareh/packages/Qt/qtcreator-1.3.1/bin/../lib/libQtGui.so.4)

anyone know why? and how I can fix this problem?
