Phonon multimedia framework

Is there any way to create a VU meter gauge in Phonon.
A function that returns the db to create the meter.

Sorry, old thread. But I found a solution today:

The calculation from the samples to dB is left to someone else :) I'm happy with the peak values MAX(samples[]) for the moment
