I have created a custom component for my application and need to generate qdoc and html files which could provide info to other developers using the app. I have used the designated tags in the app i.e., \qmltype, \qmlmethod.
Could you detail me the steps how to create doc for custom components?

I haven't used qdoc outside of Qt's documentation, however, have you considered using doxygen instead?

Could you provide me the steps how to go about using doxygen?
You could check the doxygen manual, let doxygen generate a default config and edit it to your needs or look at one of the many projects that use doxygen.
I am sure you can google for all of these.
