Qt designer differences in qt-x11 and qtopia core

I would like to ask if there is any difference between the designer in qt-x11 and the designer in qtopia core.
Can I use the designer in qt-x11 to design GUI for the qtopia core ?

Yes, you can (and in fact should) use QtDesigner from X11 (or other desktop platform) to create code for Qtopia.
