QT with VC++ Trading Screen Developer - full time - Chicago

GUI Trading Screens Developer with leading Chicago based trading firm

Develop real-time, complex trading screens for traders to interface with the trading system.

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of user interface components and frameworks.
• Work with traders to improve usability and to design new features.
• Develop requirements, propose solutions and deliver software in a timely and robust manner.
• Ensure that the software delivered is high quality and easy to manage.
• Do ongoing performance analysis and tuning.
• Keep up to date on the latest technologies that could benefit the system.

Qualifications:

• Front-end GUI development experience in C++, QT or Java.
• Experience with multi-threaded programming.
• Strong analytic and design capabilities, ability to decompose a problem into simpler parts.
• Java, Linux, and web-based development is also a plus.
• Experience developing GUI trading screens is highly desired.
• Experience with Spring or other dependency-injection frameworks is a plus.
• Demonstrated preference for simple, cohesive, and practical solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• B.S. in Computer Science or related engineering field.
