Need some help while learning distributed network programming and threading.

Hello Folks,

I have been using Qt from last few months (Since Qt5.1, now Qt5.2.1) now. I have leaned a lot about GUI and other models like SqlTableModel and others.
Now I need to learn Network programming and multi-threading programming in Qt.
I feel like I need a comprehensive guide for these topics as I am very new to these topics when it comes to write code, But I have theoretical knowledge of these topics from my college days but never did any project which required these things.

Can anyone tell me where to start, step by step ?
I would be very thankful.
