QT designer hangs windows remote desktop session
Hello,
I use QT designer 4.8.7 on windows server 2012 standard using remote desktop session. If I do the following steps:
1) start QT designer
2) Create a main form
3) On the main form, drop a pushbutton, and resize it to make it very big
4) try to move the button with the mouse.
Then the RDP session starts to hang at step 3), or 4). If I disconnect the session and reconnect again, the hang is solved, but trying step 3 and/or 4 hangs the session again.
I think it has something to do with the ability of windows to show transparent windows over a RDP session. I tried many things but no solution yet.
Has somebody has a workaround for this?
Best regards
Carl.

Re: QT designer hangs windows remote desktop session
I confirm this issue.
We run;
- Server side;
- PyQt4-4.11.3-gpl-Py2.7-Qt4.8.6-x32
- Windows Server 2012 R2 Standaard
- Client side;
- Windows 7 Professional
- Attachment 11549
I also note that when I drag a small enough (so preventing the issue) button in the RDP session it is invisible. When I drop the button it becomes visible.
When I do this client side the button remains visible while dragging.
