How to hide application button on the task bar?

Just subj. How to do it, but application window must remains vsible? Qt 4.3.3.

under windows use Qt::SubWindow (Qt::WindowFlags)

Qt::WindowFlags flags;
flags |= Qt::SubWindow;
setWindowFlags(flags);

Qt::WindowFlags flags;
flags |= Qt::SubWindow;
setWindowFlags(flags);

To copy to clipboard, switch view to plain text mode 

under linux, I didn't tested.
under mac, I don't think there is a solution
