    hey... i was wondering whether anyone can post some links providing some information about display lists,its use etc...thanks...

    Ahem... what kind of display lists are we talking about? Have you taken a look at Qt Widget Gallery?

    There is no difference in using display lists when you use Qt. You can follow any OpenGL tutorial on display lists.
