How to remove these characters from(",/,\,|,*,>) from filename?

Hi all

Working on Qt4.3.4 on Windows Operating System.
Can anybody tells me how can i remove the following charactrs from the filename (",/,\,>,<,*,?,:,|) from the filename and my filename is of QString type.
