    Default qt assistant on linux

    hi,

i have built the x11 version of qt 4.4.2 on kubuntu. but when i launch the assistant, the application starts but there is no information about qt on the index and search cannot find anything at all. is there a switch to correctly build the tools ?

    thanks,
    sami

Did you compile the source with "-make docs"? If not recompile and install the docs alone. (-nomake libs -nomake tools -nomake examples -nomake demos -nomake translations)

Edit: search for *.qch files. If you had them, add these files via the settings dialogue.
