What IDE ?

I am using debian Lenny and i installed QT4.
After creating the first programs i now realise that a IDE is needed

QDevelop fails to compile ... the best i can do is with the "Stable version - Linux dynamic version with plugins - qdevelop-0.25.2-1-bin.tar.gz (December 18 2007 19:47:33.) "

Is Eclipse an option?

I wish you to find the IDE that suits you need best but my advice right now will be :

1. have a look at the Qt Software section : all freely available options (that allow easy Qt development) are covered
2. use forum search tools, there are already a fair number of similar threads
