    I guess that's what "Sessions" are meant for.

    Apart from that even within a project you can have arbitrarily nested
    projects if you use the SUBDIRS template. That's way more flexible
    than VS two-level project/solution hierarchy as far as I am concerned.

    they say that the final release is on early 2009 so that means first quarter right?

    Possibly. The release candidate came out a few days ago, so it shouldn't be long until the final release, I guess.
