help me for install Qt4.4.3 on VS6

hi ,, im need install qt 4.4.3 in msv6
, i have qt 4.4.3 comerical edition , During installition At configration , Suddenly stop the configure and show message "building qmake failed , return code 2"

why?

How about using a compiler from this decade? VC++ 2008 express is free.

thank you , i know , but the vs6 very very easy and faster , im need to use v6 editor only .

Then use it for editing and something else for compiling.

You do realize how old and poor the MSVC++ 6 compiler is, right? Where Qt 4.4 should still support MSVC++ 6 at some level (excluding some new features like Qt concurrent, XPath & WebKit), it is planned to be no longer actively supported in Qt 4.5 and the support is going to be dropped in Qt 4.6.

Visual C++ 6.0 requires Service Pack 5 to work correctly with Qt. If you are using Visual C++ version 6.0 make sure that you update to SP5.
