problem with show/exec of Qdialog

Hi All,

I am facing a very weird issue. I created a custom messagebox derived from QDialog and have been using it perfectly fine until 4.1.5 version of QT was used. Recently, I started using 4.4.3 version and ever since, the application hangs everytime I call show/exec of the custom messagebox. Could anyone give my any pointers why this would happen? I've gone through QT Assistant but nothing seems to be helping. I would appreciate a brisk reply.
