Updating from Qt-4.4.3 to Qt-4.5.0 --Help Needed

hi friends,
i want to upgrade existing Qt-4.4.3 to Qt-4.5.0 without adding an extra directory for Qt-4.5.0. How can I do this. I prefer only one version of Qt existing on my system. I am using Linux version.
pls post some suggestions. thank u.
