QtExtended = Qtopia (a set of applications, APIs, a window manager-like API), Qt/Embedded is the same as Qt/Desktop, just for an embedded system.

    Ok.For the next time.

Qt/Embedded is the same as Qt/Desktop, just for an embedded system.
So you mean if i wanna start programming for embedded systems e.g. mobile phones i must work with Qt/Embedded?

If your mobile phone can't handle X11 then you need Qt/Embedded do deploy your application. But you can develop it on the desktop using either Qt/X11 or Qt/Embedded.
