Default QT4.5 and QTKit on MacOS

    Hi to all,

I neet to capture video from an external camera (not iSight). I don't know if it's possible using Pinnacle Video Capture for Mac or some other hardware (i.e. an Firewire converter) to transform an external video source into a standar QuickTime.

For first, I've tried with OpenCV and the but some friend suggest to me to try with QTKit so, how can I use QTKit functions on my QT4.5 application?

    thanks,
    Andrea

There is not QTKit. Unless you mean the QtSDK. Which includes the libraries and the IDE. Look into this class Phonon

QTKit is Apple QT Kit Frameworks (http://developer.apple.com/quicktime/qtkit.html)

I would like to be a "Guru"

Useful hints (try them before asking):
    1. Use Qt Assistant
    2. Search the forum

If you haven't found solution yet then create new topic with smart question.
