QT Demo browser does not work !

Hi,
I recently downloaded and installed qt 4.5. But the demo browser does not render properly.See the image below to see what i mean.

The problem goes away when i launch qtdemo.exe with -software option.
Can some one explain me the cause of the problem?

i had same problem on my home computer, probably still have.
same installation on my work computer is ok.

don't know what is the cause of problem, but i believe that rebuilding demos from source will do the trick.

I suspect this is a bug related to using 16-bit display depth on your system. Should be fixed in 4.5.1. But unless you are using a remote desktop then you should probably be using 24-bit anyway.

edit: Hmm. Otoh, looks more like a problem with your GL drivers. Might be worth filing a bug report with the vendor and driver you are using.

Check if all OpenGL examples work correctly. If not, that's most likely a problem with your drivers as already suggested.
