Yes, I am aware of no-no to mix debug and release libs. The problem is that Qwt Install document does not say anything specific about compiling qwt in debug mode (I just rechecked it and don't see any mention of debug build).

I compiled Qwt by following install instructions and it built qwt5.dll and lib, without separate debug version of the library.

What are the steps to compile Qwt in debug mode?
