why qvfb don't work

recently,I have encountered the problem that is i compiled the tool of qvfb in the qtopia core4,but when i run that,there is wrong information about "not connect the x server" on the screen.is there anyone know why this occur? thanks!

Maybe you tried to execute it from within a text console? Run it from within a running X server with user who has the priviledge to access the Xserver.
