Default Debugger Helper - Access Denied

I am having an issue with running the debugger helper.

Qt creator version 1.3, qt 4.6
I am using gbd debugger with mingw compiler and the default location of the helper library available.

I am not the administrator of my computer and cannot get administrator rights. (This is where I think the problem might be).
I am looking for a way to circumvent this issue and get the debugger helper to work...

I really want the debugger helper to work.
Right now the debugger window just shows the variables without their values. So the debugger works, it is just the helper.

Any thoughts on how I can get it to work?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Smile Re: Debugger Helper - Access Denied

I tried installing post mortem debugger and it still deosnt work. The only reason it worked was because the application started as admin user after install.

So, I am still open to ideas,

    Thank you,

Switch off the 'Use custom location'. Using that you force Creator to use only that single location. If you can't write there - tough luck. If you switch off the custom location, Creator tries several locations, one of them should succeed.
