Installing examples/demos for QT4

Hi everyone,

I'm using opensuse 11.1 x64. I installed Qt4.6 and qtcreator1.3 through yast. Everything worked fine but unfortunately it didn't install the examples and demos.

So I did the following:
I downloaded the source code for Qt4.6 from the website and tried to compile the examples and demos by hand. But that didn't work at all.
Then I opened one example (qmediaplayer) in qtcreator and tried to build it, but again, I get some errors:

Phonon/AudioOutput: No such file or directory
...and a bunch of other errors...

That was kind of obvious because I did not install all that 3rdparty stuff. I just don't know how to do that.

Actually, at first I tried Qt SDK but even when I installed this entire package, not all examples worked. For instance, qmediaplayer didn't work then either.

I also already tried to compile Qt4.6 from source before I installed it with yast, but for some reasons it took more than one hour to build it and even after 1.5h it wasn't done, so I stopped it. That's the reason why I installed (actually, just updated) Qt with yast.

Can someone help me with that? What should I try next?

Compiling Qt takes about 4-5 hours here on Core2Duo 2GHz.

Install the Qt examples with Yast. There should be a package for them.

I can't find this package with the examples in Yast. Which repositories?
