Animation Framework?

This question may seem dumb to some, but has the Animation Framework really been deprecated? If so, am I correct in assuming it has been deprecated in favor of the Graphics View Framework? I'm asking because I was going to start learning the Animation Framework when I noticed the deprecation on Nokia's Qt site, and there's no sense in learning something if it should not be used, right?

If you talk from the Qt Solution Animation Framework then yes it is deprecated. Why? Because it has been integrated to the normal Qt. Use the classes QPropertyAnimation instead of QtPropertyAnimation. So there is also a good explanation on how to use it in the assistant. Just check out Qt 4.6.X!

I understand now. I didn't notice that the page was indicating Qt* classes as opposed to Q* classes. Thank you very much!
