Default Building Qt Creator from src mingw - how to install

I'm on Win XP Pro SP3 using stock Qt 4.6.1 (2010.01) binary sdk which includes Qt Creator 1.3.1.
I have successfully built and installed QWT 5.2.0 and the new widgets show up in designer fine. Now I'd like to see them in Qt Creator but can't do that until I build Qt Creator from src using mingw.
I'm currently building Qt Creator but I'm wondering how to properly install it once it is done?
The supplied readme shows how to build it, but not how to install it.

Default Re: Building Qt Creator from src mingw - how to install

I wanted to edit my initial post, but alas it may be too long ago I posted it.

The rebuild with mingw worked fine, i.e. I can run the mingw version of Qt Creator just fine and the new widgets show up and everything works as expected.
The documentation suggested to build outside of the src directory, which I did.

How do I now replace the Qt Creator from the \Qt\2010.01 folder? The rebuild created the following folders with files in them:

    bin
    lib
    share
    src
