Qt Mobility's MM API v/s Qt Phonon

Hi,
I'm developing a video player app for symbian (5.0 touch and onwards). I've an option between Qt Mobility's MM API and Qt phonon.
While Qt Mobility's API isn't fully mature yet, the Phonon APIs, if I've understood correctly, will be replaced by the MM API in future.

Which one of the two should I be using? Please opine/advise.
