    Default Qt on MeeGo

    Hi All,
Have any of you started developing Qt apps for MeeGo platform? I could not find any queries in here wrt MeeGo (Or am I missing something here?). They have vaguely mentioned that Nokia Qt SDK is required for app development (Under roadmap development).

Could someone please shed some light on this? What is the current status?

My task is to port an existing Qt App to MeeGo platform. What all changes should I make to the code to make it work?

PS: I found a tutorial for MeeGo devlpmnt which is actually a Qt tutorialhere:

I've done a bit of development for Maemo 5 (which in this regard is identical to Maemo 6 aka MeeGo).

Most of all you have to redesign the UI to take into consideration a different resolution and specifics of the Maemo platform.

    Thanks Wysota.

What could they be? Could someone guide me to a good starting point for Qt dev on Maemo platform?
Design is easy. All you do is stare at the screen until drops of blood form on your forehead.

A bit different widgets, a different behaviour of things such as scrolling or input, the "window stack" concept of Maemo, possibly ability to rotate the screen. Things like that Take a look at the docs of Qt for Maemo, most of the things are mentioned there.

Why not ask the MeeGo forum :
