    Default QVFB Error Lauch Display Embedded QT Virtual Framebuffer

    I am runing ubuntu server 904 on vmware player.
    I installed also desktop environment.

    I am newbi for Qt. now I am trying to run the sample programs of qt for embedded linux on the virtual frame buffer. like the following:

    $ ./analogclock -qws -display QVFB:0

    and I get the following responce:

    analogclock: cannot connect to X server QVFB:0

    I normally run this program on the linux graphical environment but I couldnt make it on the virtual frame buffer.

    can any one give me any hint...? if any thing is un clear I am ready to elaborate.

    Sorry, i forget that page. I have never run the qt embeded applications in the ubuntu. y change the compiles in proyects output to complile with the normal QT IDE when i have to make a test in the host computer. The cross compiled application just runs into the embedded linux of the target board.

    why i dont use Virtual Framebuffer, can you support me use The cross compiled application just runs into the embedded linux of the target board

    have you use QEmu http://www.aurel32.net/info/debian_arm_qemu.php for test App ?
