loading an application into debug mode - enormous speed decrease

Hi,
some time ago I noticed that Qt (4.7.0 and creator latest stable) does not load and run application in debug mode as it used to.

What could have happened, that from normally working debug mode (normally meaning application were loading in reasonable amount of time and I did not have to wait 1 minute until widget was open) ?

Some more information like what tool chain is used, what version of Qt Creator you consider "latest stable", and perhaps the contents of the debugger log (Windows->Views->Debugger [Log]) might help.
