Question A good set of of open source icons?

Does anyone know of a good set of of open source icons? I am currently using the Boomy multiplatform set, but it's rather limited.

Otherwise, I know about the Silk icon set, but they are only 16x16 and somewhat dated (2006!). There is also the Tango library, the Open Icon Library which I find to be a mess, and the Faenza library which I have just found and which seems quite nice.

Anyway, any other icon set that I should be aware of?

I have used Fugue Icons in some of my projects, they are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0.

A very nice set, it's a real shame that it's only released in 16x16. I know that the source is provided (I had a look at it), but it would be a real pain to extract all the icons at 32x32 (that seems to be their original size which is the bare minimum I would be interested in). Well, the author invites suggestions, so I am going to email him...

There are also KDE's crystal icons and oxygen icons.

Thanks for this. I think we might have a winner (for me at least!) with the Crystal icons. Otherwise, where on earth can one download the Oxygen icons? I can see a preview for it, but no download link, unless it's buried somewhere?!

There are other oxygen related resources on kde-look as well.

I would guess KDE should hold the main repository for oxygen-icons but I can't find it now.

Thanks for the lead. I have found what I believe to be the latest version here.
