Default hide/show controls in a layout dynamically and resize the form

I have some controls placed in a layout and I want to show/hide the controls dynamically. After hiding the controls I want to *remove* the space. After hiding/showing the controls the container should resize correspondingly.

I tried and googled. anyone could give me an idea how to implement? Thanks in advance!
