    Default MSVC++ version of Qt

    Could anybody explain why Qt developers use MSVC++ 2008 compiler instead of 2010 for building MSVC++ version of Qt libraries and Qt Creator?

    Maybe because they're still working on it?...

    VS2008 is tried and tested, and comes with pre-built Qt libraries and qt plugins.

    Once VS2010 has matured (which normally means the first couple of service packs have been released), I'll think about moving over to it.

    Actually, MS VC++ compiler doesn’t seem to be buggy. However, thanks a lot for the answer.
