Default Access the data of another program from Qt

    Hello,
I just wonder how would one access the data of a program (i.e. text in text editor, text not jet saved) from Qt program? I know QtActiveX for Win and DBUS for Lin but what about MacOSX? I "know" that there are some ports of DBUS (heard but I'm not so sure about ActiveX port to OSX) but I would like some native mechanism to solve this problem.
    Any suggestions?

    Regards
