    Default Kdevlop and Qtopia

    Hi,
I am pretty much new to Qtopia and to some extent linux also. Please do advice me on the following.
-> Need to set up IDE for developing Qtopia applications (PDA)
I am using Redhat Enterprise Linux 4. It has kdevelop 3.1.1.
    Qtopia version:
sources: qtopia-free-src-2.2.0.tar.gz (PDA edition under GPL)
SDK: qtopia-free-sdk-2.2.0-1-suse82.i386.rpm (PDA edition under GPL)

Tried to follow the below tutorial but it seems things have changed. Not able to use it as mentioned in tutorial as instructions does not match the KDevelop & Qtopia version I have.
    http://kdevelop.org/3.0/doc/tutorial_qtopia/

Is there any tutorial available for later version. Do I need to put extra packages to create Qtopia development environment using kdevlop IDE. I would also like to use debugging facility if any given by Kdevelop.

    thanks a lot.

Maybe you should go for Qtopia Core edition based on Qt4 instead of using the old version based on Qt2?

I suggest you try to make your way using command tools at first until you become a bit familiar with the whole environment. Then you'll be able to set up the IDE yourself.

thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately, I have to stick to "Qtopia PDA Edition 2.2.0 (Qt/Embedded 2.3.12 included) ".
