Qt Creator 2.5: switch between Edit and Welcome(doc) modes

Following is the steps that I take:
1. Open project
2. Switch to Edit mode, editing project
3. Switch to Welcome mode, go to User Guide and select, say, qmake manual. Find a topic of interest.
4. Switch back to Edit mode.

Now, the question:
If I switch back to "Welcome", expecting to see the help page I left it on, instead I am getting back to the start page of "Welcome", not the page of qmake manual.

How can I switch from "Edit" mode to the page of the documentation that was last open?
