I am using both 3.3.6 and 4.1.3. By the way, why do you want to know ?

Well, I just curious how fast 4.2 is getting rolled out - to see if others are adopting it, because once a fair amount have, it's probably fairly safe to move on to. Though, after I put up the poll, kind of worried how many versions trolltech has to support!

2.3 0 0%
3.3 18 32.73%
4.1 39 70.91%
4.2 19 34.55%
other 1 1.82%
How may procent? 140%?

Sorry, I did not realize that this was a multiple choice poll.

The calculation is relative to the number of voters, which is at this moment 55.Originally Posted by windkracht8
Since each voter can have multiple choices there are more votes then voters.
That makes sence. You can off course use multiple versions.
Trolltech only supports Qt 3 and 4 AFAIK.
They are also only supporting bugfixes for the 3 branch, no new features. After Qt 4 came, out, Trolltech offered commercial maintenance and support on the 3 branch for an additional two years, so expect development to stop there quite soon. There have only been minor revisions to Qt 3.3 since Qt 4 debuted.
Save yourself some pain. Learn C++ before learning Qt.
I've been told that support for Qt 3 will come to a hard end in June or July. The only exceptions will be for large enterprise customers willing to pay a premium for dedicated Qt 3 support.
p.s. The Qt3Support library is a part of Qt 4, and will be fully supported for the lifetime of Qt 4. So get your porting done now!
Hi..
Using Qt 3.3.3 on linux and solaris, and little bit on Qt 4.x

I see 4.2 raising it's head since the original poll half a year ago. Soon we need to get 4.3 added as well..![]()

I am actually using 3.3.7, 4.1.4, and 4.2.1. It is safe to say I like 4.1.4. and 4.2.1 MUCH better than 3.3.7, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
I'm using Qt 3.3 at work![]()
