Cool, but please don't attach images from 3rd party sites. They tend to vanish over time. Use the attachment feature of the forum instead.

By the way, what's the minimum OS version it requires and what are (more or less) hardware requirements for achieving a decent performance? And what's the rendering engine used, the raster one or a completely custom one?
Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile.

Ok. These are preliminary screenshots anyway. They will be replaced when a release is done. I'll then update my post.

Well, the very last version is required AmigaOS 4.1 developed by Hyperion Entertainment.
For those that don't know, this is a giant leap compared to AmigaOS 3.1 which was the last one released by Commodore/Amiga Inc.

I'm not the developer. I just asked him and tell you when he answers.

The rendering engine is opengl. I've done a little work on a custom graphics.library engine, but it turned out to be much easier to just invoke the opengl engine for everything drawn on screen. Faster too ;-).

Ok, so it requires a decent graphics card. Could you ask the author if the port is based on Lighthouse or is it a full port from scratch?

    It's a port from scratch.
Note we have now on AmigaOS drivers for several Radeon cards : 2000/3000/4000/X1xxx series.

Default Qt is coming to AmigaOS

I found a discussion on this forum about AmigaOS so I wanted like to take the opportunity to say that Qt exists now on AmigaOS.

    Check these pictures:

It's not released yet (it's a one man project) but it's close to completion.

The very latest version of AmigaOS is required. This is AmigaOS 4.1 developed by Hyperion Entertainment. For those that don't know, this is a giant leap compared to AmigaOS 3.1 which was the last one released by Commodore/Amiga Inc.

    The rendering engine is OpenGL.

If some people are interested I'll post news when they come.

Just a note - I moved some posts from another thread to this thread hence the weird ordering of posts.

Here are screenshots of Qt 4.7 running on AmigaOS 4.1. The Qt port is done by Alfkil Wennermark.

Now work has begun on Qt 5 ;-)

The 4.7 archive for AmigaOS is here: http://www.os4depot.net/index.php?fu...ross/qt.tar.gz
