    Default Welcome screen missing

    Hello,
on Fedora 20 I installed QtCreator 3.0, but when I start the Welcome screen is missing. I found it useful and I would like to enable it.
Is it possible or is it a fedora specific modification?
    Thanks
    ~Aki

The Welcome screen and QML Designer both depend on OpenGL being present. Is that missing on your system?

    Hi,
thanks for your reply, but no... Nothing is missing and AFAIK I've got every qt development package installed.
I also just discovered this thread: https://qt-project.org/forums/viewthread/38398 and it seems that a plugin is missing.

If the plugin should be listed in the "About plugins..." dialog, then in my system it is not present.

    Added after 10 minutes:

Ok, I found the reason: creator 3 on fedora 20 is compiled with qt 4.8. The missing welcome screen is a known issue.

Details and status about this bug can be found here
