Default QML application slow on raspberry pi

I made a simple qml application with a TextEdit and a ListView. When I ran the application, the pi's cpu work at 100% and I can't even type to TextEdit, is terribly slow... the letters I type appear after nearly second!!! Is this a normal behavior or I haven't install openGL es drivers to pi???

    Thanks in advance

Hard to say without any concrete information. Show us some code.
Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile.
