    what is the best way to show a activex control in qml?

    Hmm.
    You mean in QtQuick, but I think there is currently no way of embedding a foreign window into a QtQuick scene.

    It is probably just not a use case that happens often in the context of where QtQuick is currently mostly used.

    Such embedding is mostly used in desktop applications and these are usually built with QtWidgets.

    Out of curiosity: what is your specific use case?

    I really appreciate programming in QtQuick/qml. At first I resisted against it, but now I program only in QtQuick. So I write the logic in c++ register it or write plugins and write the gui in qml etc.
    So know I would use some activex controls and thats the point where my question origins.
