I downloaded qt 4.8 and used the pkg to install. Then i installed pyqt4. I try to open Designer of Assistant and they open, but quickly crash saying "Designer quit unexpectedly" how can i fix this?

You've probably botched the installation. Install it again, and this time don't mess around with installation options.
