They are essentially the same dialogs, no? Looks like the 2nd one is just from an older Qt Creator version.

You are right.
Qt creator version 2.7 supports adding C++ class like 2nd one.
Do you know why they change it?
In my opinion, the 2nd one is better than the 1st one.

Qt Creator 2.7 is really old. Things change over many different releases, so don't waste your time worrying about it...
