Default Re: QT Certification Exam prices

    Hi,
I want to become QT Certified Developer, I have searched for the cost of obtaining certification but I can't find it. How much should I save for this expenditure? I live in Mexico, do you think I can do it remotely somehow? Or should I fly to the nearest country? Too bad my US visa is about to expire. Maybe Canada, is there any certification centers in Canada?

Also, I am going to spend my summer of 2017 in Russia, so maybe in Moscow I could certify ? Is there any russian QT developer here who could give me his experience of receiving his/her QT certification and the amount spent on this matter?

    Thanks in advance
    Nulik

Wow, they sure make it as hard as possible to find out information about testing.

Here's a link that shows some of the test centers in Mexico.

The PDF file you can find by following the "Download the curriculum" link here describes the test.

This link give the prices for test vouchers in various countries. Since it appears you have to purchase at least 10 vouchers, it's going to cost you at least 845 Euro. Why, I don't know. It seems like the voucher thing is designed for companies with lots of developers, not individuals trying to get certified.

The missing link is, "How many vouchers do you need to take the certification test?" and I can't find that information. I think the best thing you can do it to send an e-mail to The Qt Company and ask.

By the way, if you are searching on the Pearson site, you have to look for "The Qt Company" under "T", not "Q" in their index. Go figure.
