Question Successfully build Qt from source, but installation "Error copying" ...

I successfully built qt source qt-everywhere-src-5.11.1, following the instructions at

However, when I tried to install Qt by sudo checkinstall, I got the following error messages:

    Qt Code:
    1. Error copying ....../qt-everywhere-src-5.11.1/qtbase/src/platformheaders/xcbfunctions/qxcbwindowfunctions.h to /usr/local/Qt-5.11.1/include/QtPlatformHeaders/qxcbwindowfunctions.h: Cannot create /usr/local/Qt-5.11.1/include/QtPlatformHeaders/qxcbwindowfunctions.h for output
    2. Makefile:1230: recipe for target 'install_targ_headers' failed
To copy to clipboard, switch view to plain text mode

How to install Qt from source?
