Qtable and Cell overflow

Hello--

Is there any way set up a column to allow overflow? What I've got is 4 columns that 95% of the time are just displaying 4 different numbers. However, if there's an error I'd like it print out Error starting in column one and ending in 2 or 3. Thanks
