Default Qt 4.3.3 WinXP Installation Failed

    Hey,
I'm trying to get into Qt with the news of it being released under LGPL.
I've installed MinGW-5.1.4 (g++ and make since the others seemed unnecessary).
Instead of filling this post with a lot of error messages, I've copied the error/messages to a DZone code snippet which is here: http://snippets.dzone.com/posts/show/6862. I've ommitted a lot of the compilation messages and just skipped to the errors.
    Any suggestions?

If this is your first approach to Qt, I would suggest using the binary version of the installation package. When using MinGW you don't have to rebuild Qt unless you want to enable some specific features. As for your error it seems you are missing something in your installation.

BTW. Please don't use third party sites to paste code or compilation logs as this makes it easy for them to vanish over time and others having the same problems as you will not be able to benefit from the thread. Instead use the attachment feature of our forum.

Is MinGW 3.4.2 out of question? That's the version downloaded by the binary installer. It's guaranteed to work. Here's a direct link: ftp://ftp.trolltech.com/misc/MinGW-3.4.2.exe
