can someone point me to examples of printing from a view. I ALMOST have it working but the view is printing to high and to far left on the paper so the information is cropped. is there a way to adjust for printer cords.???

Thanks I will study this. But even on this spreadsheet output it is top left, how would you print the spreadsheet image lower and father to the right ?
The printer is a QPaintDevice. You print by drawing on it. If you want to print more to the right, just draw more to the right. Using QPainter::translate() might be helpful.
