Deploy on Windows XP ?

Hi !

I started using Qt this spring and the application runs well under the Qt environment.
But it should eventually run standalone under Win XP.
So I tried "Deploying an Application on Windows" from the Qt Help.
First, this seemed to be rather simple but many many options made it quite difficult.
I ended up re-installing Qt because nothing worked anymore.
Is there an easier way to reconfigure Qt for static build on XP ?

thanks for the replies.
I use the open version, not the commercial one.

My attempts with this were a while ago, so I don't remember exactly how it went wrong.
But it was rather basic. Either QtCreator didn't start at all or it didn't produce any result.
I tried the process described under "Static linking". It's supposed to be the most simple method, so I wonder why I had this much of a problem with it.
