OpenCV on mac

Hello all,
firstly i am very thankful to the forum for helping me out in my previous work. I want to use open cv libraries now on mac, i dunno how .pro file should look like, I found a link which gives instructions to install opencv on windows http://www.barbato.us/2011/03/18/usi...-in-windows-2/
Should I follow the same procedure for mac too ?
